Director of Hiring and Retention

Carolyn was born and raised on the East Coast and moved to San Antonio TX in 2005. She has been in the Automobile Industry for 20 years, and has been with Toyota of Boerne since 2012. She loves to garden, cook and have friends over for dinner. She also loves going back to the East Coast to visit her family and play with her twin granddaughters.

CCC Director

Steve is a lifelong resident of San Antonio. He is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin. He has been in the car industry since 2007, after a 20-year career in the pharmaceutical sales. He is an avid fan the Texas Longhorn football and baseball teams, Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. He enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Lori and 2 grown children. Steve takes pride in being a good son, Husband and Father.

General Manager

Chris Franklin is our General Sales Manager. He started in the car business as a sales consultant in 1997. He loves spending time with his wife and newborn baby girl. Chris also likes building hot rods, and can be found at many car shows throughout San Antonio. Chris is also the self-proclaimed “Ultimate Houston Texans Fan” and has never missed a game since their inception. When asked what do you like most about your job, his answer is “The family environment we provide for our customers & employees.”

When we think of dedication, we think of John! After 12 years and 7 different roles, John is an expert at all things auto! Being the great leader that he is, John shares his knowledge with everyone, helping us grow stronger! He always comes to work with a smile on his face and loves being a member of the Vaughan Automotive family. From being mentored to being the mentor, John has been here through it all.

General Sales Manager

13 years. 7 positions. 100% effort. Tuan climbed his way up from a Porter to a General Sales Manager. Tuan knows that anything is possible through hard work and dedication. And more than that, when you work at Vaughan Automotive, you’re a part of the family! It’s not just a saying, it’s a culture. Tuan makes everyone feel welcome and is never shy to lend a helping hand. Nothing’s stronger than family!

Tuan moved from Houston in 1998 to San Antonio. Tuan is married with a beautiful daughter and has a pet Yorkie. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the golf course OR just tinkering with cars.

Finance Manager

From Sales Associate to Finance Manager, Stephen has been putting in the work for over six years! In his time at Mike Calvert Toyota, Stephen has worn many hats. From sales on the floor to running sales online, one thing has stayed the same — Stephen knows how to make a big impact. The culture of excellence at the dealership has driven him to be his best every day, no exceptions!

Exchange Director

Our Exchange Director, Edward, isn’t shy when it comes to hard work. His persistence and drive has moved him up quickly through the ranks. Starting as a Sales Associate, then Assistant Sales Manager, and is currently our Exchange Director. How did he accomplish all of this in a little over a year? He says the leaders at Vaughan Automotive pushed him to take on new and challenging opportunities daily. He was mentored by colleagues who wanted to see him succeed, and Edward had the passion to see it through!

New Car Sales Manager

Our New Car Sales Manager, Juan, shows tenacity like no other. In just a year and a half he has accepted 4 promotions. Going from a Sales Associate to an Assistant Sales Manager, then Finance Manager, and now New Car Sales Manager. Juan knows the importance of being a team player and a strong leader. He credits the great leadership at Vaughan Automotive for setting an impeccable example for their employees.
